JULY 13

12:36 a.m., caller is requesting to speak to an officer about getting assistance with rehabilitation.

4:58 p.m., a suspicious male carrying a backpack went to the end of Greenfield Court and when he thought no one was looking, he ran away toward the exit of the subdivision; unable to locate.

7:17 a.m., five horses are loose on Lancaster Road.

7:43 a.m.,a man is knocking on the door and wandering around the 911 Center on South Fourth Street; is was an employee with landscaping company who was having issues with the water.

8:22 a.m., there appears to be a lot of personal items such as clothing that have been found in the bushes near the business on North First Street.

11:38 a.m., caller is requesting that it be noted that her husband is going to mow and the neighbor always calls in saying he is trespassing on Tank Pond Road; officer advised neither man has claim to the property.

2:15 p.m., officer out with a panhandler who has a small child on Hustonville Road; subjects have made their way from California and cannot find work here

4:25 p.m., caller has found trash bags with bloody gloves in a creek by the curve on Mansfield Road.

4:32 p.m., a suspicious man is in a vehicle parked on West Lexington Avenue; he was parked there all day yesterday and is parked there again today.

6:12 p.m., a verbal domestic altercation is in progress between and male and female at Constitution Square park; arrest made.

7:08 p.m., a van has pulled behind a house on Martin Luther King Blvd. then a male fled on foot toward CVS; arrest made near KU.

7:21 p.m., female at the residence is requesting assistance because the children are scared and want to leave with her.

8:21 p.m., caller said someone had entered the home on Chrisman Lane through the kitchen door sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. today.

8:36 p.m., a female is causing a verbal disturbance at Wind Jammers.

10:03 p.m., one vehicle possible injury accident on the bypass; smoke is coming from the vehicle; the pickup truck has now left the scene and is heading up the hill toward McDonalds.

11:44 p.m., vehicle stop on East Knob Lick Road; arrest made.

11:49 p.m., one vehicle, possible injury accident on Quirks Run Road; driver is under the influence and is attempting to flee; Mercer County notified.

JULY 14

1:34 a.m., caller from North Second Street wants to speak to an officer in reference to roommate stealing the caller’s dog.

2:20 a.m., caller from White Oak Road is complaining that a driver in an SUV or truck is going by the house revving the engine and squealing its tires.

5:51 a.m., a male in a red truck is unconscious which may be drug-related at Redi-Mart on Bluegrass Pike.

7:59 a.m., caller from Harberson Lane said property was taken while she was in jail; crime occurred in the city.

11:48 a.m., caller at the softball field at Millennium Park said a male shoved and slammed her arm in the vehicle and took her daughter’s shirt.

12:50 p.m., caller is reporting the theft of an EBT card in Hazard and it was used at the Danville Walmart.

2:52 p.m., citizen is at police department lobby to report stolen items from KSD Village Apartments.

2:54 p.m., caller’s landlord is on scene at Perryville Road residence; caller advised a male and female are there and are acting suspiciously because the man is going through the caller’s vehicle and the female is running around the yard yelling and screaming; caller is en route and the landlord is already there; but subjects were told to stay inside their vehicles until officers arrived; arrest made.

3:32 p.m., a raccoon is in a dumpster at Magnolia Place Apartments; caller left a way out for the animal and will call back later if the raccoon is in distress.

5:20 p.m., someone’s vehicle is parked on the caller’s carport on Shakertown Road and no one should be there; the subject may be a male who has been told not to trespass there; all three subjects were told to leave the property and not trespass.

8:03 p.m., vehicle stop on Alum Springs Road; both males are extremely intoxicated; arrest made.

8:45 p.m., report that juveniles are mistreating a cat in Junction City.

8:52 p.m., complaint that a silver truck on Ky. 52 with excessive black smoke is hindering other drivers.

9:56 p.m., a physical altercation between several people just occurred at Applebee’s and property was damaged.

10:42 p.m., domestic altercation is in progress on West Knob Lick Road; arrest made.

11:54 p.m., female caller in Texas sent her son to Kentucky but doesn’t know where he is staying; she said her sister is holding him for ransom because she needs $180 to get him back home; caller doesn’t want to pay the money to get her son back home; assistance given.
