Money raised from this event goes toward the renovation of the new Community Art Center across from the Grand Theater. The preliminary rounds are held 7 p.m. Saturday through Sept. 8, at Leo’s Restaurant on Lexington Street in Lancaster. Entry fee is $20 for the first try and $10 each subsequent try. Each weekend, three contestants will pass on to the finals in September. Cash and prizes will be presented on finals night.
The GCAC fundraiser, Summer Sizzle Karaoke Contest, has announced the winners from weeks one and two. Each weekend 3 contestants will pass on to the finals in September. Cash and prizes will be presented on finals night. Sign up is at 7:00 pm. Winners on July 14 were 1st place Meghan Beal, 2nd place Tiffini Beal and 3rd place Bob Henson.
