Carrie Stines

1948-2018

Carrie Stines, 70, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018. She was born in Grundy, Virginia on January 11, 1948 to the late Duley Newman and Mossie Edna Harp Stines. Carrie was a retired operator from Standard Products. She was a loving and caring person that would do anything for anyone. Carrie loved and adored her family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Carl and Cubby. Widow of James Boyd.

She is survived by a son Rhett (Krista) Bisschop of Nicholasville; a daughter, Shawn Stines Powell of Garrard County; a brother Rodger (Ethal); three sisters, Debbie, Barbara (Wayne) and Sandy (Merele); five grandchildren, Sidney and Cambron Bisschop, Megan Jacobs, Raven Fields, Cheyenne Randall; two great grandchildren, Ellie and Aurbry; a special niece, Margie Ray; and many nieces and nephews.

The Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2018 at McDonald Cemetery in Junction City. Rev. Dale Denton will officiate. The online guestbook is available at www.stithcares.com.
