A fire at Rocky Top Log Furniture and Railing that broke out this morning has destroyed at least two large metal buildings where rustic log furniture was manufactured.

According to business owner Laurence Coppedge, what he had found out so far was at least one employee was inside the flat shop where dresser drawers and tables were constructed. When the power was turned on to the machinery, an employee heard an explosion and saw a fireball burst through a door vent. All employees evacuated the shop and no one was injured.
