Ruth Caudill

1921-2018

Ruth Caudill, 97, of Stanford, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Charleston Healthcare in Danville, Ky.

Born February 15, 1921, to the late Arvil Hubbard and Goldie Bryant Hubbard, she was the widow of George H. Caudill. She was a former employee of Palm Beach, Inc. and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, James Darrel Caudill (Joan) of Richmond; two daughters, Nancy Smith (Johnny) of Stanford and Ruthann Sykes (Gary) of Scottsville; one brother, Donald Hubbard; one sister, Leola Caudill both of Halls Gap; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Darrel Hubbard; and two sisters, Dorothy Mullins and Lockie Salyers.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford from 5-8 p.m.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 at the funeral home with Reverends Gary King and Johnny Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford.
