Summer arts-loving

Community Arts Center just recently wrapped up a summer chock-full of different arts camps area children took advantage of. Camps were offered that gave kids a chance to create their own unique dollhouses; holiday designs during Christmas in July; fairy art; and a fashion camp, just to name a few. Kate Snyder with CAC said so many people asked about a Dollhouse Camp for adults that they will now be offering it as a two-day workshop in November; more details to come. Also coming up at CAC this Friday: Night at the Museum, a special overnight-stay open to students in second through sixth grades. Younger siblings, in grades kindergarten through first, of campers will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. Kids will participate in art-making activities, a scavenger hunt, exploring the art galleries by flashlight and watching a movie. Each event features different activities from the last offered sleepover. Registration fee includes an evening snack and light breakfast Saturday morning. Want to enroll your child?
