Mylo is a handsome three-year-old Beagle mix. He was a stray, but has not had an owner come forward to reclaim him, so Mylo is ready for a fresh start with a new family. Besides being attractive, Mylo is also excellent on the leash. He will sit for a treat and is an all around great fellow. Mylo has been neutered and is ready to go to a loving home where he will get the attention that he deserves!

August 20th is National Dog Day! This holiday celebrates the important role that dogs play in our lives, whether as a family pet, working in law enforcement or as a service or therapy dog. Dogs selflessly work each day to love us, protect us, and comfort us. This holiday also helps educate the public about the number of dogs and puppies that need to be rescued each year.

There are many ways that you can celebrate National Dog Day. You can donate money, supplies or some of your time as a volunteer at an animal shelter or rescue. You can consider adopting a dog in need. You can spend extra time with your dog to thank her for all the unconditional love that she gives every day of the year!

Low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter surgery is available for pet owners with low and fixed incomes. Call our Happy Paws Clinic today at (859) 691-1137 for an appointment. Please help control pet over-population by having your pet spayed or neutered.
