Dear Editor,

I’m writing this letter on behalf of Paul Smiley, candidate for the Danville Board of Education. Paul is a devoted husband, father, retired educator, former Danville school board member for several terms and a friend to many residents in our community. Paul’s sons Owen, Eric and Kevin are honor graduates of Danville High School and are currently in the field of education.

Mr. Smiley has a broad background in the field of education from the classroom to coaching several sports, administrative jobs and served on many state education boards. His resume speaks volumes.

Paul is a devout Christian man who values educational success for all children not only in Danville, as well as the whole state of Kentucky. Paul would bring invaluable expertise, educational knowledge, team working skills and a lot of love and caring for the students in our Danville Schools.
