The Blue Grass Trust is honored to partner with our long-time friends at Shaker Village to bring the award-winning BGT deTours to Shaker Village on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018. Located at 3501 Lexington Road (U.S. 68) in Harrodsburg, Shaker Village is approximately 45 minutes from downtown Lexington.

To allow for travel time, the BGT deTour will begin at 6 p.m. at the Meeting House at the Village. As always, BGT’s deTours are free and open to all.

To best accommodate all guests at this special deTour, guests are asked to RSVP by calling the BGT at (859) 253-0362.

The group will meet at the meeting house in the center of the village. When you enter the village, take a right at the 3-way stop. You will then see a parking lot on your left. Park in this lot and follow the “event check-in” signs to the Meeting House.

The Social After-Hour will be on site, with a cash bar and complimentary hors d’oeuvres. If you would like to dine at Shaker Village at The Trustees Table after the BGT deTour, guests can make dining reservations by visiting shakervillageky.org/the-trustees-table/.

If you would like to make reservations and stay overnight at Shaker Village, a 20-percent discount on overnight room rates and a complimentary breakfast for two are available by using the code “BGT20” when you visit shakervillageky.org/the-inn/.

The award-winning BGT deTours program is designed to provide tours of places you might not normally get to see, helping people interact with and learn about sites that make the Bluegrass special.
