Fuller joins Danville Family Physicians

Danville Family Physicians welcomes Nancy Fuller APRN, to the practice. She is providing primary care to patients of all ages.

Nancy earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University in 1984 and her

master’s degree in parent child nursing in 1993 from the University of Kentucky. She completed her post-master’s certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Northern Kentucky University in 2016.

Fuller is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She enjoys caring for both children and adults and has special interests in patient education, pulmonary disease and obesity.

Nancy and her husband, Luther moved to the area from Louisville. They have four grown, married children and five grandchildren. Luther works for Ephraim McDowell Health as a registered nurse in Surgical Services. In her free time, she enjoys walks with her dogs Lily and Luke, gardening, decorating and reading.

Arnold nominated for DAISY award

HARRODSBURG — Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital is pleased to recognize and honor one of its nurses for her extraordinary patient care. Deanna Arnold,

RN, a nurse in the Case Management Department, was one of many nurses nominated for the DAISY Award.

A resident of Mercer County, Deanna has been caring for patients at Haggin for the past three years and has served as a registered nurse in Mercer and surrounding counties for over 20 years.

She was nominated for the award by a patient’s family member, who said, “We will all be forever grateful for the above and beyond act of kindness Deanna showed our family. Deanna was very gracious and we very much appreciate how in tune she was to what was transpiring in that hospital room.”

The DAISY Award is a national program that honors the compassionate care and clinical excellence that nurses bring to their patients every day. Nomination forms for the DAISY Award are available at various locations throughout Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Ephraim  McDowell Fort Logan Hospital and Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital.
