The story of Kentucky Soaps & Such began in 2003 with the store’s owner, Angela Correll, and her backyard pasture full of pet goats. Though Angela was content to let the goats live a life of leisure on her Stanford farm, her husband Jess, a businessman and part-time farmer, wanted the animals to produce something of value or retire elsewhere.

Correll said, “We are grateful to all our customers who believe in the health benefits of goat milk soap and have supported the product for the past fifteen years. We are even more committed today to provide the most wholesome products for daily use.”

Today, the growth continues with the redesign and expansion of the Kentucky Soaps &

Such website.

“We are very excited to get our new website out there for customers to use,” says Hannah Griffin, manager of the Kentucky Soaps & Such store in Stanford. “I feel like the health benefits page on our website is a great tool. Customers like to know what the products can do for them before they make a purchase.”

In addition to the goat’s milk soap Plainview Farm has become known for, the website also offers customers easy access to purchase a variety of other health and spa products.
