Brenda Sue Denny

1949-2018

Brenda Sue Denny, 69, of Broughtontown, passed away Friday, September 7, at her home. She was the wife of Ray Denny whom she married on December 21, 1968. Brenda was born in Stanford on September 7, 1949. She was a daughter of the late Paris and Sally Hazel (Wallin) Burke. She had worked as a secretary at the Crab Orchard Elementary School. Brenda was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Ray Denny; son, Andrew Denny and wife Johnetta; daughter, Sarah and husband Kevin Carrier; daughter, Amy and husband Josh Brown; brother, Paris Burke and wife Liz; sister, Shirley and husband Terry Weber; sister, Diane and husband Wayne Edwards; sister, Robin Jackson Burke; four grandchildren, Madison Nichole Denny, Peyton MacKenzie Denny, Caleb Tilden Edwards and Huson Kain Brown.

Funeral 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dan Gutenson officiating. Burial will be in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation on Monday after 6 p.m. at McKnight Funeral Home.
