Judy Carol Benge Brown

1947-2018

Judy Carol Benge Brown, 70, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018.

She was born October 2, 1947, in Danville, a daughter of the late William and Lucille Herrington Benge. Judy was the widow of Charles William Brown, who passed away in 2013.

Judy was passionate about taking care of her family. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren after school and enjoyed spending family time together. She also was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Kentucky Wildcat fan.

Survivors include her three daughters, Sandy (Brian) Wiley, Jeanie (James) Martin, and Tina Carey; seven grandchildren, Danielle (Lee) Short, Trevor Wiley, Paige Wiley, Michelle (Brandon) Mitchell, Chad (Brooke) Yates, Carriebeth (Kyle) Griffin and Caylee Martin; seven great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Eli, Hayden Short, Bentlee Truscott, Hunter Yates, Ayden Vest, Amery Griffin; a brother, Jimmy (Charlene) Benge; sister-in-law, Myrna Benge; and several nieces and nephews,

In addition to her parents and husband, Judy was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Edna Benge and Benny Benge.

The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville with Bro. Dave Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 – 9:00 p.m., Tuesday September 18, 2018 at Walden Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Brian and Trevor Wiley, James Martin, Chad Yates, Lee Short, and Kyle Griffin.

Honorary bearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
