The Chamber of Commerce forum scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 11, includes candidates for Magistrate District 5, Jamie Gay and Stephen Cline.

Day of Action rescheduled

The Heart of Kentucky United Way Day of Action, originally set for Sept. 26, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 24, due to rain. The schedule for that day will remain the same as before:

8 a.m. — Kickoff breakfast: Boyle County at Millennium Park; Mercer County at Campbellsville College; and Lincoln and Garrard counties at the Historic L&N Depot in Stanford.

8:30 a.m. — Head out to projects.

Noon — Finish projects.

12:30 p.m. — Lunch at Millennium Park.

Girl Scout information night

Girl Scouts of Kentucky Wilderness Road is having an information night about joining Girl Scouts at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at Morning Pointe of Danville. For more information, email slewis@gswrc.org.
