Steven D. Mullins

1954-2018

Steven D. Mullins, 64, of Waynesburg, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 at U.K. Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.

Born July 27, 1954, in Stanford, to the late Ralph H. Mullins and Ethel Kathleen Schmitz Mullins, he worked for Culligan Water Company for 13 years and was a retired employee of Kentucky State Department of Agriculture where he worked for 27 years. He was also a lifelong member of Mount Moriah Christian Church where he served as an elder.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Berdina Mullins of Waynesburg; two sons, Steven Mullins, Jr. and Brian D. Mullins, both of Highland; one sister, Sandra Jean Mullins of Highland; three grandchildren, Sydney Michelle Mullins, Brian Dale Mullins, Jr., and Winston Joshua Means (and was expecting two twin grandsons); several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph William Mullins and Phillip Dean Mullins.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 5-9 p.m. at Mount Moriah Christian Church. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the church with Reverends Bill Gooch and Vola Brown officiating.
