Dear Editor,

With the upcoming election, we believe that a vote for Gary Chidester for Boyle County judge-executive is a win for every citizen of Boyle County.

Gary is a fair and honest person who is known for his willingness to help people. His extensive knowledge of Danville/Boyle County and her people has been garnered through his tireless work in the community. Gary Chidester is a humble, genuinely caring person who is willing to listen to his constituents. He has spent the last six months knocking on doors in every neighborhood in Boyle County in an effort to hear what you — the people he will work for — see as the issues that most affect our county.

Gary’s ability to bring people together has been exemplified through his volunteer work with the Hope Network and his work on the local drug addiction issue.

In the face of the divisions in American politics, we believe that Gary is someone who can bring people together and get things done for Boyle County. We are lifelong Republicans; Gary Chidester is a Democrat. We will cross party lines and vote for Gary for Boyle County Judge Executive because we believe in the greatness of America and the goodness of her people, because we care about our local communities and the people who make them great, and because we believe that Gary will execute his job as Boyle County judge-executive with these values and commitments in mind.

If you are ready for someone who will help mend the divisions within Boyle County, we urge you to vote for Gary Chidester for Boyle County judge-executive on Nov. 6.
