Robert Earl “Bob” Dunn

1935-2018

Robert Earl “Bob” Dunn, 83, of Lexington passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018.

Born April 3, 1935, he was the son of the late Luke and Dollie Hall Dunn. He was a US Marine veteran and a member of New Life Christian Church in Lexington. He had worked in maintenance at Trane and at the University of Kentucky.

Bob is survived by his wife of 56 years, Geraldine “Gerri” Russell Dunn; one sister, Charlene Dunn of Hustonville; one half-sister, Sue Rachford Cooper of Stanford; and nieces, nephews and cousins, including Rosemary Dunn Durham of Mt. Salem.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Bessie Dunn Pike; and two brothers, Chester and Paul Dunn.

Services will be at 1 p.m., Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Bro. Kevin Pittman with burial in Hustonville Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
