Dianna Mae Simpson

1943-2018

Dianna Mae Simpson, 75, of Crab Orchard, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at The University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. Dianna was born in Crab Orchard on June 6, 1943, to the late James Homer and Versie Marie (Wilson) Crank. She was a retired nurse’s aid having worked for the Rockcastle Regional Hospital. Dianna was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her brothers, Douglas (Ina) Crank and Harold (Ann) Crank; sisters, Edith Yvonne Price, Carolyn Dowell, and Deborah (Sherrill) Sims; several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, Dianna was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Marie Simpson.

Funeral services 11 a.m., Friday, November 16, 2018 at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gordon Chaney officiating. Burial will be in the Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 15 at McKnight Funeral Home.
