Little Pilgrams line up for their performance of "Over the River" on Tuesday morning.
The annual Thanksgiving kindergarten performance of “Over the River” took place at Woodlawn Elementary School Tuesday morning. Kindergarten teacher Betsy Everman introduced the group and said it was her 28th Thanksgiving “Over the River” that she’s been a part of, and the tradition was well-established way before she started teaching at the school. The group of youngsters had a surprise in store — they turned their backs to the audience and donned sunglasses before turning back around and doing a modern rendition of the traditional song.
