Sassy is a gorgeous adult seal point Siamese mix. She was brought to the humane society as a stray, but she obviously was somebody’s pet. Sassy is truly beautiful with her rich coloring and striking blue eyes. Sassy is friendly and rather quiet. She does not seem to be the needy type, accepting attention but not demanding it. Sassy deserves a great indoor home where she will be loved and appreciated. She is sure to make a wonderful companion for her lucky adopter!

Scout is a cute 3-year-old Boxer mix that was found as a stray. He’s a handsome brown color with black points and white on his chest. Scout is medium size and does well with other dogs. He has plenty of energy, with a playful nature, and loving disposition. Scout would be a great addition to a family that has the time and love to give to this sweet boy. Come for a visit and see if he is your perfect match!

The DBCHS wishes everyone a very Happy New Year! Thank you so much for your overwhelming support in 2018! As a suggestion for a New Year’s resolution you can help the animals at the humane society by volunteering at our adoption center at the PetSmart at Brannon Crossing once a month on a Saturday afternoon. This is very rewarding work placing homeless animals with their new forever families. For more information email our PetSmart coordinator at humanevolunteer@gmail.com or call the humane society at (859) 238-1117.

Low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter surgery is available for pet owners with low and fixed incomes. Call our Happy Paws Clinic today at (859) 691-1137 for an appointment. Please help control pet over-population by having your pet spayed or neutered.
