Meetings
City of Danville Commission/Boyle Fiscal Court — 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4 at Inter-County R.E.C.C. meeting room, 1009 Hustonville Rd. This special called Parks and Recreation workshop consist of a presentation of the Master Parks and Recreation plan and discussion between City Commission and Boyle Fiscal Court.
The Garden Club of Danville — 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6 at the Boyle County Extension Service, 99 Corporate Drive. The program will be ” Soil and Insects in Our Gardens.” The speaker is Jessica Besson, Horticulture Agent for the Mercer County Extension Service. Jessica will share information about soil and its contents and insects that make our gardens successful. Visitors and prospective members are always welcome. Boyle County honor roll correction
Boyle County senior Vanita Fitzwater was omitted from the All A’s honor roll and Jack I. Stomberger, also a senior, was listed on the A/B Honor roll and should have been listed on the All A honor roll.
CASA orientation and volunteer training
A volunteer orientation will be 6 p.m. Feb. 4 at the CASA office, 473 W. Walnut St., Danville. Attendees will learn about the work CASA of the Bluegrass does in the community.

Masonic breakfast planned
Danville’s Franklin Masonic Lodge will have a country breakfast 7-10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 at the lodge hall, 400 North Fourth St. The menu includes pork tenderloin, country ham, sausage, bacon, pancakes, eggs, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, coffee, orange juice and pastries. Everyone is welcome.
