A fundraiser benefiting the Community Arts Center with hundreds of small artworks for sale for $20 each. No cover charge. Lunch with the Arts – Maurice Manning, noon-1 p.m. Wednesday at CAC, Danville. Manning is a Danville native and a nationally-recognized poet. MOVIES

Afternoon movie screening, 1 p.m. Feb. 21 at LCPL, Stanford. Join members of our Book Club for an afternoon movie at the library.  Light refreshments provided. Summary: Four friends in a book club are inspired to spice things up after reading “Fifty Shades of Grey.” With each of them in a different romantic situation, the women gather inspiration and tips for the bedroom and try new things later in life.

STAGE

“The Other Side of the Mountain,” Friday-Sunday at WTH, Danville. An award winning play by Catherine Bush, this drama/comedy conveys a clash of cultures, shattered dreams and secrets best left alone.
