Many were AWOL for Memorial Day tribute

To the community,
This past Saturday, a Memorial Day tribute, led by Jack Hendricks and others, organized a wonderful service to honor the fallen. Few citizens reported present. Sadly, many citizens were AWOL.
Starting with WWI, over 40,151,000 men and women have reported present to serve this great nation. Over 1,136,000 have been wounded and over 668,000 killed and laid in the cold, cold ground.
We enjoy our freedoms because of those who served. It is disappointing that so few citizens are willing to take an hour and pay tribute to the fallen. They deserve better.
Thank you, Jack, for your leadership.
