VBS at Redemption Road

Redemption Road Church will hold Vacation Bible School, Monday-Friday, June 10-14, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. each evening for children ages 3 through 13. The theme is: Roar: Life is Wild, God is Good. The church is located at 125 Pemberton Way.

Heaven Bound will be singing at Mt. Salem Baptist Church on Sunday, June 9 at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Men’s and Women’s Day at St. James A.M.E.

The annual Men’s and Women’s Day at St. James A.M.E. Church, will be Sunday, June 9. The church is located at 124 E. Walnut St. The morning worship service begins at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Sherry Gay-Green, pastor of St. Pau. A.M.E. Church in Manchester. The afternoon worship service begins at 3 p.m. and will be led by the Rev. Jermaine Wilson, pastor of St. John A.M.E. church in Frankfort. Lunch will be served following the morning service.
