Pageants, pulls, pizza and Moon Pies

The Boyle County Fair continued Wednesday evening with the goat show, Miss Preteen pageant and truck pull. The threat of rain seemed to keep people away from the fair, but those who attended didn’t let a few sprinkles keep them from having fun. Keyla Peach of Harrodsburg won in the pizza eating contest, but lost to Lincoln Lutz, of Garrard County, in the Moon Pie eating contest.
Tonight, the fair will feature a beef show at the livestock barn, baby show at the pavillion and the annual Bluegrass Nationals Truck and Tractor Pull.
On Saturday, the fair will end with the Miss Teen pageant, a corn hole tournament and the Bluegrass Nationals Truck and Tractor Pull finals.
