Caring Friends Fellowship

The July Caring Friends Fellowship meeting will be Sunday, July 28 at the Lexington Avenue Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 339 West Lexington Avenue, Danville. Serving of the meal will begin at 12:30 p.m. The South District Baptist Association will provide the meat and everyone is to bring their favorite salad, vegetable or dessert. The program will be presented by Alethea Price, Boyle County Extension Agent, on “How to Declutter and Get Organized.” Cash donations will be accepted to cover the cost of the meat. Please invite your widowed family members, friends and neighbors to come with you. Vision Church of Holiness

Bishop Larry Weathers Sr. and congregation will be the guests at Burress Temple MPGT in Lockland, Ohio on Saturday, July 13 at noon for Bishop James Price’s anniversary service.

Fish and chicken sale

Hope Full Gospel Church will have a fish and chicken sale on Saturday, July 13 starting at 12:30 p.m. at 193 East Martin Luther King Street. Call (859) 238-0192 for orders.

Brodhead gospel services

Gospel services  are being held at Quail Community Park, 5067 Old Somerset Pike (Hwy. 70), Brodhead on Wednesday, July 17 and July 24. Speakers will be Tanner Shomin and Bill Denk. No collection will be taken.

Singing at Mt. Salem

The Russell Murphy Family from Corbin will be singing at Mt. Salem Baptist Church on Sunday, July 14 at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Women’s Day

First Baptist Church at 2nd and Walnut Street will be celebrating Women’s Day on Sunday, July 14. Guest speaker for the afternoon service starting at 3 p.m. will be Pastor Michael Zachary and congregation from Centerville Baptist Church from Paris. Everyone is invited. Dr. Darrick Briscoe is the pastor.

Kidz Blitz Live
