Little Zion homecoming

Little Zion Baptist Church in Burgin will be having a church homecoming rally on Sunday, July 21. Bro. Ryan Logan will bring the message during the morning service starting at 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome. Bro. Phil Yates is the pastor.

Miller to speak

Rev. Dennis Miller, Second Street Christian Church in Danville, will be the guest speaker at Bethel A.M.E. Church, Boneyville, Stanford on Sunday, July 21 at 3 p.m. Dinner will be served following the morning worship service. Rev. Reginald Pullums is the pastor.

Harris Creek to hold homecoming

Harris Creek Baptist Church will hold homecoming services on Sunday, July 21. Jeffery Sparks will be speaking during the morning worship service starting at 11 a.m. A potluck meal will be held in the fellowship hall following the service. Calvary Heirs will sing following the potluck meal.

Gospel singing at Dix River Pentecostal

A gospel singing will be held at Dix River Pentecostal Church on Saturday, July 20 starting at 6 p.m. The church is located on U.S. 27 South (next to Burger House restaurant). Refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall following the singing. Bro. Walter Bowling is the pastor.

Grace and Faith to hold VBS

Grace and Faith Church, located in the old Griders Building in Junction City, is having Vacation Bible School July 22-26 at 6-9 p.m. each day. The theme is “ROAR: Life is Wild… God is Good.” Ages 4-12. Parents are welcomed to stay. Contact Pastor Paul Stratton at (859) 329-1940 for more details.

Amen Corner open all summer

The Amen Corner thrift store at the Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, will continue to be open this summer from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It is located at the church’s entrance on First Street.
