Hogsett Primary School SBDM Special Called Meeting — 4:15 p.m. Monday, August 5, at Hogsett Primary School, 410 E Main Street.

Boyle County Solid Waste and Recycle — 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8 at 1862 South Danville Bypass. This date was changed from August 6.

Boyle County Public Library Board of Trustees — 10:30 a..m. Thursday, Aug. 8 in the library’s Conference Room.

Boyle County Animal Control — 11:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8 at 777 North Danville Bypass. This date was changed from Aug. 6.

KSP Post 7 traffic safety checkpoint

RICHMOND — The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, which provides coverage for Boyle, Lincoln, and Garrard counties, will be conducting periodic traffic safety checkpoints at locations approved by the Kentucky State Police Policy and Procedures Manual. These checkpoints will be conducted in an effort to enforce the traffic laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  Special attention will be paid to occupant protection (seatbelt adherence), sobriety, insurance, and registration violations. 

Boyle County: Old US 127 at Airport Road; and KY 37 / 4 miles south of Junction City

Garrard County: KY 954 at Copper Creek Road; KY 1295 at the Madison / Garrard line; and US 27 at Gilberts Creek

Lincoln County: KY 39 at US 150; KY 501 at Angel Ridge; and KY 198 at KY 698.
