Kindness was sprinkled inside the Salvation Army’s family thrift store on Tuesday. Lts. Lindsey and Roger Galabeas made mini-doughnuts and invited children and adults to decorate them with frosting, crunchy cereal and a variety of sprinkles. Sharing the “sprinkle kindness” doughnut treats was a way for the church to spread the message that “kindness is free” and was based on a Bible verse. Because of the most recent mass shootings, Lt. Lindsey Galabeas said “The world needs a little bit more of kindness these days.”
