This Sunday, Aug. 11, the Boyle County football team will host a two hour “Meet the Rebels” event at the football stadium on campus starting at 6:00 p.m.

The current senior class wanted to hold the event in order to interact with the public, as opposed to the normal team activity they had been holding in years past.

The event is free to attend, but will have food trucks on site for fans to buy a bite to eat. There will also be t-shirts available for purchase featuring the 2019 Boyle County team motto “Finish the Mission”.

The event will feature activities for Rebel fans of all ages, but most will be aimed more at the younger fans. Cheerleaders will do face painting, and the pep club will have a make your own noisemaker station. There will also be a dunk booth where fans can try there luck at dunking a senior on the team, and perhaps even a coach.

In addition to meeting the BCHS football team, the event will also recognize members of the Boyle County Youth Football flag football teams as well as members of the teams representing the elementary and middle schools.
