Angela Marie Denham

1954-2019

Angela Marie Denham, 65, of Danville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

Born on January 17, 1954 in Stanford, Kentucky to the late Walter W. Denham and Angie Cottrell Denham. Angela worked at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky as a registered nurse on the Women’s Health Unit. She helped care for mothers and babies for over 30 years. Her profession and her family were her passions in life. She also loved going on vacations to Myrtle Beach. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her only son, Will Denham (Leanna) of Danville, Kentucky; two brothers, Vernon Denham (Violet) of Louisville, Kentucky and Leslie T. Denham (Rose) of Waynesburg, Kentucky; one sister, Joyce Davis (James E.) of Danville, Kentucky; many nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Earl Denham and Harold Denham.

A visitation has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, Kentucky. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, Kentucky with Bro. Rob Kernodle officiating the service. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford, Kentucky.

Active pallbearers are Will Denham, Cory Powell, Jim Davis, Gary Miller, Joe Thompson and Jeff Denham.
