VISUAL ART

“Historic Images from Centre College,” through Sept. 16 at Boyle County Public Library (BCPL), Danville. This exhibit, which is on loan from Centre College, features historic photographs drawn from the Centre archives. The photographs include scenes not only from Centre, but also from Kentucky College for Women and the Kentucky School for the Deaf, two local institutions with close historic ties to the College.

“Mix it Up!” through Sept. 7 at New Editions Gallery, 500 W. Short St., Lexington. For Me, for You, for Later: First Steps to Spending, Sharing, and Saving, 10 a.m.-noon Aug. 29 at LCPL, Stanford. Toddlers and preschoolers and their caregivers will participate in a variety of fun activities focused on making choices, exploring value, learning about saving, spending and sharing, and answering common money questions.
