CAP to have open house

The Stuart Powell Civil Air Patrol Cadet Squadron 122 is having an open house  from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26 at Stuart Powell Airfield, 420 Ky. 1273 near Junction City. The squadron is for students ages 12 to 18 who are interested in flight, emergency services, helping their community and developing their leadership skills. The squadron is also welcoming motivated, senior members to staff the squadron and pilot programs.

Danville Boyle County Convention and Visitors Bureau — 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26 at the Hampton Inn, 100 Montgomery Way. Agenda includes: Financials July 2019/ action needed, July minutes, chairman’s report on proposed committee structure discussion, Executive Director’s Report, Kentucky Tourism Economic Impact report, and New Business/Hotels/Restaurants reports.

Danville Boyle County Human Rights Commission — 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, at the Boyle County Courthouse, in the fiscal court room on the first floor. Please arrive promptly and enter by the Fourth Street entrance. The Human Rights Commission is established to hear all complaints and concerns of community citizens related to violations of their human rights.
