Linda Sue Nolan, 70, died Friday, September 20, 2019. She was born in Marion County on September 26, 1948 to the late Foster Lee and Zelda Marie Cull Smith. Linda was single parent, raising a good son and a member of Indian Hills Christian Church. She received her nursing degree from Danville School of Nursing and worked as a nurse in The Veterans Hospital. Linda enjoyed retirement. She enjoyed spending time at her lake house, driving golf carts, dancing and being a grandmother. Linda loved her family.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, of 35 years, Larry D. Nolan.

She is survived by her son, Dwayne (Michelle) Brown of Gravel Switch; two brothers, David Smith (Rosalee Allen) of Junction City, Kenneth (Lucille) Smith of Stanford; four grandchildren, Jamie Brown, Jonathan Brown, Austin Brown, James Brown; and one great grandchild, Bentley Brown.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. Rev. Brad King will officiate. Burial will be in Beech Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 pm. – 8 p.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Stith Funeral Home in Danville.

Pallbearers will be Johnathan Brown, Austin Brown, James Brown, Tyler Lawson, Ross Nolan and Devin Carpenter.
