Centre College Family Weekend takes place Sept. 27-29 and the Heart of Danville will be welcoming visitors to the downtown area all day Saturday with shopping and restaurants open.

At 5 p.m. the Centre Bicentennial film “A Storied Centre” will be shown at Plank on Main; Fourth Street Station, a Centre-affiliated musical group will perform at 7 p.m. at Harvey’s; and Prototype will perform at 7 p.m. at Tut’s.
