Susan Bogie

1939-2019

Susan Bogie, 80, died on September 24, 2019 in Lancaster, Ky. Born on September 2, 1939 in Danville to the late Neal and Edyth Hambright Snead. Susan was the past vice president of Kentucky Health and Welfare Pension Plan and the past secretary of the board. She was an avid quilter and loved to sew and embroidery.

Susan is predeceased by her sister, Barbara Milburn; and her brother, Neal B. Snead.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jerry Bogie of Lancaster; her daughters, Cindy (Willard) Mills of Danville and Cheryl (Tom) Greenwell of Tupelo, Mississippi; her son, Brian (Kathy) Bogie of Graham, North Carolina; her grandchildren, Christie (Elaina) Bogie, Alicia Mills and Joseph Greenwell; and her great-grandchildren, Gabriel Greenwell, Gabriella Greenwell and Easton Cheatham.
