Pets of the Week, Oct. 9

Published 3:22 pm Tuesday, October 8, 2019

Our featured pets this week are Sir Lancelot and Bailey.

Sir Lancelot

Sir Lancelot is a 7-month old cat that was brought to the humane society because his owner had too many grown kittens from an unwanted litter. Sir Lancelot is solid white and quite a stunning fellow. He is friendly and outgoing and full of youthful energy. He and his brother love to play wrestle and then chill out for some serious cat napping. Sir Lancelot is ready to be your handsome and fun companion if you decide he’s a great fit for your home.

Bailey is a sweet medium-sized mix breed dog that is about 1½ years old. He weighs 50 lbs and may be part Retriever and part Chow Chow. Bailey is a gentle soul that loves attention and petting. He walks well on leash and gets along with other dogs. Bailey was surrendered to the humane society because his owner did not have the time to care for a dog. If you’re able to give Bailey the love and attention that he deserves, then come and meet this happy fellow and see if he’s your perfect match.

Don’t forget! October is Adopt-A-Shelter Dog Month and the DBCHS is offering reduced adoption fee for the doggies. Adult dogs are just $50 (plus tax) and puppies are $65 (plus tax) and this includes all the usual vet work including spay or neuter surgery and microchipping. So, if you’re considering adding a puppy or dog to the family, come check out the cuties we have available for adoption.

Low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter surgery is available for pet owners with low and fixed incomes.  Call our Happy Paws Clinic today at (859) 691-1137 for an appointment. Please help control pet over-population by having your pet spayed or neutered.
