• “Young Frankenstein,” Oct. 24-27, and Oct. 31-Nov. 3 at West T. Hill Community Theatre, 117 Larrimore Lane. The popular Broadway musical at its ditziest, glitziest, and funniest.  Mel Brooks pulls out al the stops with divine silliness and a touch of genius. Brook’s lyrics are bright and witty and each character more outrageous than the next. This exhibit features the artwork of two talented local collage artists, and will be on display through the end of October.

• FOTL Film Series: Screwball Comedies, 7 p.m. tonight (Thursday, Oct. 10) at BCPL, Danville. In this 1972 romantic screwball comedy, four identical pieces of red plaid luggage are mixed up in a San Francisco hotel creating chaos for their owners: a nerdy academic and his controlling fiancée, a mysterious man, a rich woman, and a college drop-out who is a force of nature who disrupts (and more or less destroys) everything in her path.
