The following people were indicted by a Boyle County grand jury on Sept. 18:

• Dustin Fifer, 29, Junction City: selling a simulated controlled substance. Bail was set at $2,000. Casey McCoy with the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office testified.
• William Hays, 36, Danville: driving on a DUI suspended license; third-degree criminal mischief by causing damage to a fence. Bail was set at 10% of $2,000. Doug Combs testified for the Commonwealth.
• Jamie Baker, 46, Stanford: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000. Aaron Rainwater with the Danville Police Department testified. Receiving stolen property valued between $500 and $10,000 of a vehicle owned by Centre College. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000. Lisa Dollins with the DPD testified.
• Kelly Beyersdoerfer, 46, Stanford: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia, pipe; driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000. Russell with the Junction City Police Chief testified.
• Michael Black, 35, Mackville: second-degree escape when he escaped from the home incarceration program, persistent felony offender. Bail was set at $20,000. Derek Benge with Probation and Parole testified.
• Ashley Carrier, 32, Danville: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, fentanyl. Bail was set at $5,000 and McCoy testified.
• Steven Cissell, 29, Lebanon: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; speeding. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and McCoy testified.
• Michael Cochran, 43, Liberty: first-degree bail jumping by failing to appear for a final sentencing hearing. Bail was set at $10,000. Kari Wilson testified for the Commonwealth.
• Barbara Coontz, 39, Danville: first-degree bail jumping by failing to appear for an arraignment. Bail was set at $10,000 and Wilson testified.
• Crystal Cooper, 39, Danville: first-degree bail jumping by failing to appear for a pretrial conference. Bail was set at $10,000 and Wilson testified.
• Seth Cornett, 20, Stanford: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia, spoon. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000. Chad Bartleson with the DPD testified.
• Jeffery Cutter, 32, Danville: third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, more than 120 dosage units of gabapentin; possession of drug paraphernalia, scales; third-degree criminal mischief. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000. Brandon Jewell with the DPD testified.
• John Michael Essex, 56, Springfield: identity theft by a persistent felony offender. Bail was set at $20,000. Jacob Farley with the DPD testified.
