Jasmine is a gorgeous dilute calico that was brought to the humane society as a friendly stray. She is a young adult and has a slender body and refined features giving her an exotic appearance. Jasmine was a little shy at first, which is quite understandable, but she has adjusted quickly and enjoys petting and one on one attention. This sweet and gentle girl will make a wonderful addition to most any home searching for a relaxed and beautiful lap kitty.

Diego is a 1-year-old mixed breed. He’s a big, beautiful boy weighing 65 pounds and may be part hound and part lab. Diego was a stray and unfortunately his owner was not found so he’s ready for a fresh start. Diego is a happy fellow, just look at the big smile in his photo. He is friendly and energetic and does well in play groups with other dogs. Diego is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped, so come for a meet and greet and see if he is your perfect match.

We’re down to the last eight days of our special pricing for dogs and pups during Adopt-A-Shelter Dog month! Puppies are just $65 (plus tax) and dogs over 6 months of age are $50 (plus tax) to adopt. This includes the spay or neuter surgery and age appropriate vaccinations, deworming and microchipping. At the DBCHS we have many beautiful and loving dogs that are waiting to find their perfect forever home. If you have been considering adding a canine member to your family, why not come get your next best friend at a great price during this special month.

Low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter surgery is available for pet owners with low and fixed incomes. Call our Happy Paws Clinic today at (859) 691-1137 for an appointment. Please help control pet over-population by having your pet spayed or neutered.
