Esther Jones Sallee

1935-2019

Esther Jones Sallee, 84, Danville died Saturday, October 26, 2019. Born January 10, 1935 in Oakdale, TN to the late Sidney and Lola Iona Rasnick Jones. She was a 1952 Danville High School graduate and member of First Baptist Church. Esther worked as a seamstress for Palm Beach and Trim Masters. She loved to sew for her family and enjoyed birdwatching. She loved her cat, “Howie”. Esther supported Danville Wrestling and was a big UK basketball fan. Family meant everything to Esther. She was predeceased by her brothers, Bernard Jones, Bartley Jones and Clayton Jones.

She is survived by her son, Joey (Karyn) Sallee, Danville; five grandchildren, Nora Wells, Abigail (Keipher) McKenzie, Seamus Sallee, Morgan Sallee, Sam (Christian) Kuchenbrod and two great-grandchildren, Emma Wells, Cullen Kuchenbrod.
