THEATER

“Young Frankenstein,” tonight (Oct. 31) through Sunday at West T. Hill Community Theatre, 117 Larrimore Lane. The popular Broadway musical at its ditziest, glitziest, and funniest.  Mel Brooks pulls out all the stops with divine silliness and a touch of genius.  A campy parody of the classic horror film inspired by Mary Shelley’s novel about a scientist who uses dark methods to animate a monster. “Bad Dates,” Oct. 31-Nov. 3 and Nov. 7-10 at Caldwell House, 2011 N. Maple Ave, Danville. Scarlet Theatre’s presentation of an award-winning play by Theresa Rebeck, a comic look at the risky world of dating while actually holding a job.
