Shirley Elaine Shepherd, 68, died on November 29, 2019 in Lexington. Born on December 14, 1950 in Russell Springs to Robert and Della Imogene McQueary. Shirley attended Burgin Church of God and enjoyed working the food bank at the church. She loved flea markets and lighthouses. She also loved and enjoyed taking care of her family every day. She was predeceased by her father, Robert.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Todd Shepherd of Burgin; a daughter, Stephanie (Rodney) Brock of Bryantsville; a son, Addis Shepherd of Elizabethtown; four grandchildren, Elga Todd Brock, Toby Shepherd, Brooklyn Shepherd, Nevaeh Shepherd; her mother, Imogene McQueary; and two sisters, Debra (Joedy) Bottom of Harrodsburg and Wanda Tucker of Columbus, IN.

The funeral service will be 1 pm, Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. Rev. Donnie Irvin will officiate the service. Burial will be at Burgin Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Barnett, Anthony Gilvin, Joedy Bottom and grandchildren, Elga, Toby, Brooklyn and Nevaeh. Visitation will be 11 am – 1 pm, Thursday prior to the service.
