Our featured pets this week are Joey and Bandit.

Joey is a cute 8-month-old tabby that was surrendered to the humane society because his owner could no longer care for him. He is a handsome tabby with inquisitive eyes. Joey is a calm fellow that loves to take advantage of a soft blanket for snuggling. A few kitty toys and some one on one attention in between his nap times will keep him happy. This sweet little fellow is patiently waiting for a special person to come and choose him for adoption.

Bandit is a darling 1-year-old Jack Russell mix that was brought to the humane society as a stray. He is a pretty brown with white markings on his chest and feet and has cute prick ears. Bandit is high energy and will do best in a home without small children and where he will get plenty of exercise. Daily walks and games of fetch will keep him from getting bored and he will be a happy little guy. Bandit also enjoys playing with other dogs in the exercise yard. If Bandit sounds like your kind of dog, come for a meet and greet and see if you quickly become best buddies.

The dogs and kitties have been working on their Christmas lists. They would love some nice snuggly blankets and towels for the cold winter nights along with both dry and canned pet food to fill their bowls. Supplies including liquid laundry detergent, bleach, hand soap, hand sanitizer, cat litter, and paper towels are used every day at the humane society to keep the animals clean and comfortable. And of course, the animals love to have some treats and toys in their stockings. Monetary gifts are always appreciated and can be used to purchase what is most needed to care for the animals.
