From Brent Blevins, Boyle County ASAP, Boyle County Health Department —

On behalf of Boyle County ASAP and the Boyle County Health Department, I want to thank the Perryville City Council for its commitment to the health of the Perryville community by adopting a comprehensive smoke-free ordinance for the city of Perryville.

Residents of Perryville and visitors can now enjoy smoke- and e-cigarette-aerosol exposure-free environments for enclosed workplaces/enclosed public places. The ordinance went into effect on Dec. 5 and residents and visitors to Perryville can now breathe clean indoor air when visiting workplaces and places open to the public.
