Hugh G. Smith

1944-2019

Hugh G. Smith, 75, passed away Wednesday December 11, 2019. He was born April 14, 1944 in Harrodsburg, a son of the late Richard Curtis and Cleo Phillips Smith.

Hugh attended Lexington Avenue Baptist Church and was a carpenter. He enjoyed golfing, going to yard sales and was a collector of many things.

Survivors include a daughter, Dawn Smith, sister, Nancy Barger and brother Ralph C. and Martha Smith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

The funeral service will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville with Pastor Stacy Wilson officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Smith, Stacy Wilson, Bobby Stevens, Anthony Gilvin and Terry Minks.
