Kathy Sue Ramey

1960-2019

Kathy Sue Ramey, 59, of Crab Orchard passed away Wednesday, December 11th, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Hospital in Danville. She was the wife of Michael J Ramey whom she married on January 2, 1987. Kathy was born on February 13, 1960 to the late Floyd and Joyce Faye (Burton) Payne. She was the former owner & operator of The Past Time Cafe in Crab Orchard and previously worked at Palm Beach and Red Wing. Kathy was a member of the Hickory Grove Pentecostal Church.

Survivors Include her Husband of 32 Years, Michael Ramey of Crab Orchard; Daughter, Katrina & Husband Todd Salyers of Stanford; Son, Chris Ramey & Companion Tiffany of Charleston, SC; Step Son, Bryn Ramey & Wife Jolene of London; Three Grandchildren: Zachary Salyers, Dustin & Devin Ramey; Sister, Deborah & Husband Buddy Adams of Crab Orchard; Sister, Connie & Husband Mark Denny of Brodhead; Brother, Ricky Payne & Wife Marilyn of Crab Orchard.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by a Sister, Tonya Marlene Payne

Pallbearers Include: Dustin & Devin Ramey, Zachary Salyers, Shayne Adams, Duke Payne & Dalton Blevins

Honorary Pallbearers Include: Todd Salyers, Buddy Adams & Mark Denny

Funeral Service 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 14, 2019 at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randall Adams officiating. Burial will be in the Crab Orchard Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00 PM on Friday, December 13, 2019 at McKnight Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
