John W. Raines Jr.

1952-2019

John “Johnny” W. Raines, Jr., passed peacefully, December 14, 2019 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. He was born on August 2, 1952 to the late John W. and Betty Jean Raines. Johnny is survived by his wife, Sherry Neal Raines; a daughter, Erin Raines (Atlanta, GA); and a son, John W. Raines, III; three granddaughters; two sisters, Linda Raines Warren (Bruce) and Gloria Raines Lewis (Paul) (Danville). He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald C. Raines.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 5-8 pm at First Baptist Church, 200 W. Walnut Street, Danville, KY. Funeral Service will be Friday, December 20, 2019 at 1pm at First Baptist Church.
