Pets of the Week, Jan. 29, 2020

Our featured pets for this week are Shirley and Thor.

Shirley

Shirley is a gorgeous 3-year-old dilute tortoiseshell cat. Her coloring has a gray base with marbling of tan and orange in her coat and with a splash of white on the front of her neck. Shirley is quite the beauty queen. This pretty girl was brought to the humane society because her owner could no longer keep her. Shirley is a quiet kitty that minds her own business and gets along with the other cats. Shirley has been spayed and had her vet work brought up to date. If you are looking for a low maintenance sweetheart of a kitty to add to your home, put Shirley at the top of your list.

Thor is a good-looking 1-year-old chocolate lab mix. He was left abandoned in a rental apartment and luckily the landlord alerted animal control. Thor was a little scared at first entering the humane society, but he has made a big turn around with a short adjustment period and some TLC. Thor is now a happy boy with a wagging tail. He does well on leash and playing with other dogs. Thor is a smart fellow and will thrive with an owner who will continue his training and include him in family activities. If you choose Thor for adoption the reward will be a handsome and loyal forever friend.
