Steven Eugene Douglas

1964-2020

Steven Eugene Douglas, 56, died Friday, February 28, 2020 in Acworth, Georgia. Born January 24, 1964 in Nuremburg, Germany. He was the son of Carolyn Sue Douglas of Junction City and the late Billy Joe Douglas.

Steve enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, and spending time with his family. Steve’s personality was one of a kind. He had a heart of gold and always put others above himself. The light of his life was his son and beautiful granddaughters, Mayzie, Taylor and Hailee.

He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Sue Douglas; his son, Christopher Kyle Douglas (Misty Spoonamore); three granddaughters, Mayzie Kaylynn Douglas, Taylor Elmore, and Hailee Elmore; two brothers; Mike Douglas and Shawn Douglas; three sisters, Teresa (Dale) Brown, Belinda Gaddis, and Lisa Douglas; and a close nephew, Brandon (Rebecca) Douglas.

Funeral service will be 1 pm, Thursday March 5, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Barry Harmon will officiate. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Visitation will be 11am – 1pm Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Burial will be at Danville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
